Best wishes to you and your mom 🥰! What does she think about Charlotte, Vanessa and Dorothy?
Hiya Little fan! We send our best wishes to you as well, I hope you’re doing well 🥰! We’ll start with Charlotte.
Charlotte:
My mom likes her, but says that Charlotte has been “done dirty” by canon 😅. She likes that she’s a badass warrior, but hates how it seems like all the focus is on her crush on Yami (as in, thats all the anime wanted to focus on) and the silly comedic stuff. She said “there’s so much potential for Charlotte, but they’re just wasting it! Show us why Sol is obsessed with her instead of just telling us!”
She also said her favorite Charlotte scene was the flashback when her curse activated, saying that “I thought the writers were going to do something with it. But they haven’t yet, which confuses me. I want her to have a moment to show us how amazing she is!”. She does like the silly bits with Charlotte though, like the scene in the Star Festival, but really wishes we could see her “warrior, cool” side more!
Overall she likes Charlotte, but wishes that she would show off her badass side more because she’s a really good character that’s being wasted!
Vanessa:
She said she loves Vanessa, and when I asked why she said “What’s not to love?”. She likes that she can out drink most of the other characters, and says that she thinks Vanessa is one of the smartest out of the BBs, and she really loves Rouge (“Rouge can be sassy” is her direct quote XD) and that she loves Vanessa’s magic! She loves how Vanessa utilizes her powers as well as the other Bulls powers!
She said she loves how Vanessa hangs with the boys but also hangs out with the girls, and just overall loves her “wine aunt” personality (“she reminds me of Karen Walker from “Will & Grace”” was another quote!) but she loves Vanessa and says she can do no wrong XD!
Dorothy:
For Dorothy she doesn’t really have much of an opinion, she said she likes her powers and thinks she’s cool, but doesn’t like that Dorothy kept Nozel’s secret about Acier from Noelle for as long as she did, and wishes that Dorothy had stepped in to tell Nozel that he was going to far in how he was treating Noelle!
(Note: I don’t think we know when Nozel told Dorothy about his curse, and we don’t know if Dorothy even knew about how he and his siblings were treating Noelle 😅).

Rant about warriors for @jestersdlc
Long under cut
1/idk how many
So, I'm going to start with the first bunch of books for this one.
In Warriors, there are four clans: Shadowclan, Thunderclan, Windclan, and Riverclan.
There are also Loners, Rouges, and Kittypets. Loners are peaceful cats that aren't a part of a clan and don't have any anger toward the clans. Rouges are similar but are very hostile toward clan cats. Kittypets, however, are simple housecats.
Kittypets, examples being Firestar(his Kittypet name was Rusty) and Cloudtail(Firestar's nephew, didn't have a kittypet name), can be accepted into clans, although a rare occurrence. Firestar is the main character, and Coudtail is an atheist, so yeah.
Speaking of religion, there are two places the cats will go when they die. Starclan, the equivalent to heaven, or the Dark Forest, which is equal to hell. Only medicine cats and special main characters can have dreams of one of these two places, where they can communicate with cats there on any regular night. However, at the Moonstone or Moonpool (big stone/pond that reflects the moons light almost fully), any cat can communicate with starclan(typically).
Some notable cats from the first bunch of groups include Scourge, a Rouge leader of 'bloodclan', which isn't an official clan and is just a rogue(I just noticed my typos, and I'm not fixing them all) group. Then there's Tigerstar, but I'm going to make an entire different post highlighting everything that tom has done since it's a lot, and I hate him for it. Lastly, there's Yellowfang, an elderly she-cat who originally was Shadowclan's medicine cats until she came to Thunderclan and was eventually accepted, and she was super badass and fed poisonous deathberries to her own son while he was in the camp because he(I genuinely don't remember his name:/) was conspiring with TigerClaw to kill Bluestar(TC leader at the time).
Onto cat breeds, most of them in the forest seem to be less of the fluffy, round, conventionally cute kind, but also no sphinx cats oddly enough. (I'm only on the 4th or 5th group of books, so this is all a big YET from me) Most of the more fine-tuned breeds used to be Kittypets, hence Cloudtail's prominent fluffiness amongst the rest of TC(I'm abbreviating clans now, btw).

so i saw kfp4. thoughts below. spoilers obviously read or dont im not your mom
unsurprisingly it was disappointing but surprisingly not disappointing in the way I expected, and honestly I came out of the movie a bit madder than expected because the concepts presented could have actually been pretty amazing if done well
so the main plot as presented is that the chameleon is the cool new badass villain whose main gimmick is stealing the powers of past kung fu villains and thus po and the new ally zhen must go and stop her!!! and this is where the problems begin
im just gonna say it: zhen is not only disappointing but also a character that functionally should not exist. shes immediately presented as being a Cool and Quirky Dastardly Rouge and so much of the movie hinges on us liking her but we have basically zero reason to, and throughout the movie she has literally no character arc. the twist is that she was working for the chameleon the whole time to steal po's staff, and now suddenly she feels bad about it and wants to help po because its. the right thing i guess. thats word for word the reason given. shes ultimately a nothing character who basically coin flips twice in terms of personality, and there's nothing to her
the chameleon, on the other hand, is beautiful missed opportunity
so as shown in the trailers her main gimmick is stealing the powers of past kung fu masters to be your standard copycat villain, but unlike what was expected, her backstory actually makes her pretty interesting:
the chameleon is just like po
she was a kung fu super fan who went from master to master across china, to every and any dojo she could find, all so that she could actually properly learn kung fu, but she was rejected for being too small. too weak. for being nothing more than a little runt, the same way po was just a big flabby panda that no one believed in
because of this, she decided to become a sorceress, with the goal of actually stealing the kung fun mastery of the masters in the spirit realm so that she can actually be worth something and no one could ever tell her that shes lesser again. literally the first line she says to tai lung when she summons him (and to some of the other masters) is that shes a big fan, and continually keeps naming the special techniques of each master she takes from ala the way po fanboys when being attacked by other masters
Honestly, she could have been the perfect case for a redeemed villain, because the big next lesson shifu presents to po in this movie is that its time for him to move on from being the dragon warrior, and to select a successor to that title while he becomes a spiritual grandmaster, equal to oogway, to be better than not only what others believe but what he himself believes. The chameleon and po were both characters that no one believed in and who succeeded despite the odds, which the chameleon herself says and po lampshades by going "man the amount of times a villain has told me we're identical, but this time its true".
Thats part of where the other issues come in: Tai lung and the spirit warriors summoned.
Tai lung in this film was not only missed opportunity, but he (and the past villains shen and kai) are so wildly out of character its kind of weird that theyre even in this movie. They basically show up at the tail end of the film just to have their powers stolen and get put into cages, tai lung says oogway made the wrong choice with po (kai and shen dont have a single speaking line), and when po wins we have tai lung going "maybe... oogway was right after all" and then they all bow to po and go back to the spirit realm.
..................yeah.
quick addendum a whole bunch of characters were also out of character, mainly shifu being a bit more dickish than he usually is, and especially po whose just like. a cop?? about zhen. "youre a thief therefore EVIL" and shying away from the criminal underworld section of the movie. like guys this is the guy who broke into a museum literally so he could geek out about the displays. but yeah
If they Seriously Truly Desperately Needed the successor plot point, there is both tai lung and the main fucking villain as options, and each are charming for their own reasons and leagues better than zhen: Tai Lung to finally achieve his dream after he'd basically been lied to his entire life and maybe reach some kind of reconciliation with shifu, and the chameleon to follow through on the themeings of the franchise of someone's belief and hard work actually being what allows them to be good at kung fu
instead we get lame fox zhen whose so much of a nothing character that the best sequence with her was right at the end of the movie when the furious five cameo and go through a montage of her eating shit the way po did initially.
aside from all the plot stuff the movie is a little wonky animated, like it actually is well animated and cool like all KFPs but the character designs and backgrounds did feel a little out of place, though the chameleon def works style wise.
ultimately malding because this movie could have actually worked really well if they just switched out a few things: Have the chameleon fool po for his staff, steal tai lungs powers, and then tai lung and po have to work together to defeat the chameleon with the rest of the movie having them reconcile as two people who worked towards impossible expectations, ultimately culminating in them defeating the chameleon with this same lesson, and maybe po either anoints tai lung as the new dragon warrior (if hes allowed to stick around) or maybe the chameleon as the new dragon warrior and someone for po to help redeem
boom far easier 10/10 movie with no stupid aggressively "like me pls" fox character. oh well, i love stale bread and water without any ice, see you in kung fu panda five everybody

Trailer for Kung Fu Panda 4 was released at a private convention, I believe. Po is looking for a successor to The Dragon Warrior name, and the villain will be a chameleon sorceress. I don't mind the concept. Po training and finding a Dragon Warrior successor will be like when Oogway picked him and Shifu trained him. So it's a nice concept. But people are already upset that the villain is a woman and the new successor might be a girl. How this film will overly push the feamle agenda. These people are completely ignoring Tigress, aren't they?
Tigress is a better female character than a majority of other films that wrote female characters. Not just animated films, films in general.
Types of female stereotypes in Hollywood,
The famous damsel in distress. Usually, these girls are princesses or made hopelessly weak and need someone to rescue them. It can work if written right. Like in Tangled where Flynn ran back to the tower to check if Rapunzel was ok. But he didn't do all the work. Rupunzle added in her part of the work, too. She saved Flynn as well.
Romance involved? Man stealers, love triangles, insecurities about appearance, etc. The cliché, remove glasses and straight hair to be beautiful move. I can't really think of a female character where this is good. It's just setting toxic beauty standers.
Sexualize everything about the female character. Make her small, and give her a noticeable chest, hips, and long eyelashes. Nothing wrong with being feminine but when it's overly done, it's kinda annoying. Epically if it's done to every female character you create. Maybe one or two, like, I have no issue with Roug from Sonic, but that's because we have other female characters who aren't sexualized. And Roug has a personality that doesn't always rely on her seductive looks. She is a badass treasure hunter and a partner in crime/best friend/I ship it fight me, with Shadow.
Obsessed with love and finding true love. Frozen was great because it tackled this cliché. Love obsessed Anna learned a mistake many females should've learned in past films.
Mother and caretaker. This works but not if that's 100% her only character trait. I can only see this in side characters like mothers or nannies. And who says men can't be in this role?
Brat or Queen Bee. I usually enjoy these girls if they have redemption like Pacifica in Gravity Falls. Or even Regina in Mean Girls.
The prize. Self-explanatory, she's the one the hero fights to gain in the end. Which is tackled in Mulan. All the men want a girl worth fighting for, only to realize war isn't about impressing women. It's about fighting for everyone, including little girls like the girl who the doll belonged to.
The clumsy one and that's her only flaw.
And of course, not like other girls. The best example I can think of now is the Bad Cinderella Broadway show that came out recently. Making Cinderella say she doesn't dress like others and yet 90% of the ensembles dress just like her. Not like other girls can work if you don't shove it in the audience face all the time.
And now, just try, TRY to put Tigress in any of these. She isn't a damsel in distress. Damsels in distress are always captured and rely on someone to rescue them. And sometimes, like 90% of the time, the one who captures her will be seductive toward her. Tigress was never placed in that position at all. The closest she got to that role was in the 2nd film. When Shen captured the Furious Five. And I just want to say this, does anyone else get uncomfortable or at least feel icky when Shen whispers "beautiful" in Tigress's ear? I know it isn't sexual but just the thought of someone getting that close makes me uncomfortable. Anyways! Po didn't need to rescue them exactly. He just threw them a weapon and boom! They were set free and ready to fight. And anytime she is in trouble, it's a teamwork situation. Tai Lung tried to choke her, but Viper held him off while Crane helped Tigress.
Romance? 90% of films have female characters who want true love or something related. Not here. There's no romance anywhere. You can say she and Po have something blossoming, which I'm 100% on board with!!! SHIP!!! But I do love how she wasn't created for the purpose of being Po's love interest. It's kinda rare for a female character to have zero romance in her story. And when they do have it, it's always your typical love at first sight situation. Which I understand if it's a single film. But in this case, I hope they do become canon because of the way it's developing through multiple films. I can't really think of any film that establishes a deep friendship before making it romantic. I can say Trolls did since Poppy and Branch don't become a couple until the 2nd film. And their "I love you" in the first film is a platonic one.
She is also far from being sexy. She is motherly and like a big sister to her team, but that isn't her only trait. She's not a mean girl or brat. And she never points out that she isn't like other girls. Like in Super Hero films, every female hero always mentions they are a woman or complain about men. Heck, none of the films even mentions her gender.
You know that scene in Mulan where she reveals herself to the villain and the villain says "warrior" instead of mentioning her gender like every other man in the film? You know that feeling we got of how much respect a villain showed towards a woman? That's what I get in all three Kung Fu Panda films. How easy was it for Dreamworks to go the Mulan route? IN ANCIENT CHINA!!! They could've made her arch about being the only female warrior. And how she wanted the title of Dragon Warrior to prove that a woman can be a warrior. But no, she isn't the only female warrior, and she wanted the title to make Shifu proud. Heck, Shifu WANTED Tigress to be The Dragon Warrior!!! He adopted her, he trained her, he was her father figuer, he shaped her into who she is. He and Oogway never looked down at her for being a girl. They could've given her an arch about how Shifu treats his daughter (Tigress) and son (Tai Lung) differently. Same treatment for Viper. Shifu accepted Viper with open arms.
How easy could it have been for the villains to treat Tigress differently? They could've been sexist towards her, and we would excuse it as villain behavior. But no!!! Tai Lung fights her like a warrior. He doesn't tease her about being a woman. He doesn't hold back. He tries to murder her on the bridge fight. Shen kills on sight. He doesn't care about her gender. Kai has his "little kitten" line. How easy was it for the writers to make that a sexist line? Instead, they make it a simple taunting line. The villains see her as an enemy. Her teammates see her as their friend and leader. Po admires her. The village sees her their protector. Shifu and Oogway see her as the top student/daughter. And DreamWorks treats her like any other character. The company isn't constantly shining a spotlight on her and calling attention to how great they are at making female characters. She is a Chinese lady who is treated just like everyone else in all three films. Which is pretty rare since the first one came out at 2008. A time when children films put a lot of attention on their female characters being female and advertise the hey out of it. I would say Moana was close, but Maui always pointed out that she's a princess. Go-go from Big Hero Six was SUPER close. Then she had her woman up line. There is nothing wrong with it, the film is great and so is Go-go. But I can't ignore that line that brought attention to her being a woman. I think Mirabel is one of the best female characters as well. Same level as Tigress since Mirabel is treated just like everyone else without her gender ever being in the spot light or falling in any cliché female role.
In conclusion! If there's any franchise I fully trust with women's representation, it's Kung Fu Panda. So, who cares if the villain is a woman? Who gives a care that the next Dragon Warrior might be a girl? Kung Fu Panda treated their female characters just like any other characters. It's almost as if sexism doesn't exist in the Kung Fu Panda universe......... Also, Encanto. I trust Encanto as much as I trust Kung Fu Panda.

I'm glad I was accurate, and making you swoon was a plus ☺️
Out of curiosity, if you feel like it, I wanna know what you think best fits me. I know you don't know much about Dungeons and Dragons, so I'll give you some descriptions from DNDBeyond plus a wacky ass description from me cause I'm feeling funny.
-Barbarian: "A fierce warrior who can enter a battle rage" Aka a muscle mommy with slight anger issues
-Bard: "An inspiring magician whose power echoes the music of creation." Aka a person who is always getting themselves into trouble, yet by some miracle always makes it out alive. P.S. keep them away from Dragons...
-Cleric: "A priestly champion who weilds divine magic in service of a higher power" Aka the guy that's like "do you have time to talk about out lord and savior Jesus Christ", but it's not Jesus Christ just some deadbeat god of theirs.
-Druid: "A priest of the old faith, weilding the powers of nature and adopting animal forms, " Aka your friendly neighborhood down to earth hippie
-Fighter: "A master of martial combat, skilled with a variety of weapons and armor" Aka the basic bitch in Dnd. People like to pick them cause they have a variety of skills.
-Monk: "A master of martial arts, harnessing the power of the body in pursuit of physical and spiritual perfection." Aka Aang in Avatar the last airbender
-Paladin: "A holy warrior bound to a sacred oath." Aka the loyal one with the fanciest armor.
-Ranger: "A warrior who combats threats on the edges of civilization" Aka a pretty badass loner with a bow
-Rouge: "A scoundrel who uses stealth and trickery to overcome obstacles and enemies" Aka sneaky sneaky stabby stabby
-Sorcerer: "A spellcaster who draws on inherent magic from a gift or bloodline" Aka the lucky bastared that didn't have to train to get their magic
-Warlock: "A wielder of magic that is derived from a bargain with an extraplanar entity." Aka *insert Mike Tyson saying "sign the contract big boy"*
-🪓
At first I was like "definitely a fighter" but then i got to the part where you called them a basic bitch, so i changed my mind 😭
Honestly, i feel like you're a mix of:
druid (10%), cause you seem like a friendly neighbourhood who would turn into an animal if you could 😭
fighter (30%), "master of martial combat, skilled with a variety of weapons and armor" literally you
rouge (15%), i feel like you could be sneaky-stabby, but only if you're pushed to the limit, not your default setting
monk (30%), "a master of martial arts, harnessing the power of the body in pursuit of physical and spiritual perfection" again, literally you
paladin (15%), "a holy warrior bound to a sacred oath" i feel like that also could be your thing, like a higher purpose you'd die for or something (protecting your so (excl bugs))
How did I do? Somewhat accurate, I hope

So the Cycles series needs some context.
It was an overambitious Dragon age timelooping series, where The Curent cycles Protagonist was able to get advice from the previous protagonist whenever they got a TPK. As a sort of mentor. Orgins character Castless Dwarven Warrior (F)would advise orgins character (F) City elf Rouge (, Agressive Hawke (F) would advise silly Hawke (F), ect.
After being taken out of the story for that cycle, the previous protagonist becomes meantor, and the former mentor can go use that knowledge to change things about the timeline.
I wasn't going to do all the cycles, so much as let the mentor, and former player characters tell the current character about their cycles.
I also made the decision to have 2 universes, with oppisite gendered and choices characters of the first worlds incarnations. Sometimes they just swap places in the universes. Had fun with coming up with their stories, but is also probably the reason I never wrote it. I was not ready to keep the varried timelines and universes, with their changes, cohearent.
Here's from what I wrote down on a google docs about it .
(Like Red, there is a possibility of more)
Names
DAO story
Main for 7th: Hazel Surana (Mage elf)
Mage human: girl- Ida Amell
City elf: girl - Margret Tarbris
Dalish elf: boy - Ash Marihal
Brosca : boy- Cobalt  Brosca
Nobel: boy- Stephan Cousland
Dwarf Nobel : girl-Khutulun  Aeduncan
Alternate
M Surana:  Joseph
M Amell : Simon
M Tarbris: Jarred
F Brosca : Amber
F Cousland : Elizabeth-
M Aeducan : Dailen
F Marihal : Ebony
Chronological - Mica wins proving.  Time - , Eleanor's  wedding goes horribly wrong. Time. Zhanshi gets exiled. Time. Ash explores cave. Time. Hazel gets harrowed. Time Stephan's  family is massacred. ->blight.
7th cycle
Mica wins Proving. Zhanashi meets up with Mica, gets her to work with him.  Eleanor  invites Stephan to her wedding, when the Couslands are in Denreim for weapons.  Couslands go to wedding. Eleanor and Stephan go on a massacre to get her cousin back. Couslands become involved in eleven affairs.  Zhànshì manages to avert  Exile because he knows his way around Belhans Bs by now. He enters political campaign. Hazel gets harrowed and recruited. Stephan manages to avoid the massacre.
They are all friends in a way. Brosca to Aeducan. Tarbris to Cousland.  The Dalish Elf and the Mage were occasionally close, depending on who  was there, but Ash had always felt himself a bit of a lone wolf.
Stephan and Eleanor team up, as well as Aeducan and Brosca (along with his second and Leske). Ash runs to the wilds, through it, becomes a warden and brings Zevren, Shale, Fiona (with a bit of trickery) gets Anders to escape with her early, heads to Ashs cave, and saves his life. They then leave to make him a warden, and grab Davith and leave early.
Change. With enough tries at it over the timeline Daveth becomes a warden. So does Couslands friend.
Hazels team consists of Dog, Alister, Morrigan, Sten, Lillianna, Oghren, and ,Wynn.
Brosca's mentor is Ash. She is third cycle. She mentors Tabris, who mentors Aeducan, who mentors Cousland. Mages are a bit out of it, because they interact differently within the Fade, even for Dwarves, who shouldn't be in there.  Richard mentors Hazel.
-----
Khutulun is a badass Mongolian princess. Why not name Lady Aeducan after her?
Dailen is the name of the dwarf who was in charge of the last stand of Kal'Hirol. Fitting for a house who got their paragon status for saying "screw politics" and taking control of the army during the first blight to defend Orzammar.
Cobalt: A blue colour related to metal
Amber: fits both yellow and vaguely related to rocks, sort of
-----
Ida Amell has an unrequited crush on Ash, who does not want to engage with it, as he wishes for his children to be elves. Unfourtunatly, Margret Tarbris who he respects as a fighter, is very gay and likes Ebony.

"When you get your memory back, you'll remember that low profile isn't my thing."
Alright, this line stemmed a fan theory in me. Sonic shattered the Paradox Prism and absorbed its energy but he himself was having a few memory issues. But there are no alternate versions of him. That's probably because the Prism's energy shattered the universe and everyone in it into various aspects of it and the characters except Sonic . He absorbed that energy instead of it breaking him as well. And Shadow Chaos Controlled so he wasn't even part of that process, he travelled through space time so he doesn't even exist. He's not part of the Shatterverse like everyone else and that's why he cannot leave the void.
Thing is, all the Shatterverses put together sort of makes up the main world. Shattering the Paradox Prism shattered the world around into its fragments. Like, the extremity of wildlife and nature, the extremity of the ocean, the extremity of isolated barren land, the extremity of a high tech city. Put them all together and it makes up Mobius, having a bit of everything so it balances it all out. Anyways, that's about the world but it's also what's going on with all the characters, seen most prominently in the main cast. For example, Rusty is Amy's badass and sassy side, Thorn is her love for nature and warrior spirit and compassionate but angry side, Black Rose is her friendly and insane side. Nine is Tails' intelligence and sassy and determined side with a matching backstory, Mangey is his feral and baby side, the one which is connected to his fox instincts and is the baby brother who seeks affection. And Sails is his friendly but shy side. And Knuckles' couldn't be clearer with one being honorable and loyal, one being paranoid and one being outright unhinged and insane who goes possessively protective for a shiny gem (ya know, don't touch the Master Emerald mode). Rebel is the side of Rouge that helps the world and is loyal, Batten Rouge is excitable and social, Prim Rouge is her sly, selfish and manipulative side. I wonder how Rouge's world would be. They still haven't discovered the Yellow shard and we have main ones Sonic needs to earn the trust of in Nine, Thorn and Dread. So there's still Rouge. That one might be the true Jewel Thief side of her. The different alternates even though they seem vastly different than their original characters still feel so in-character because they are different aspects of the same character, just amplified.
Anyways, I'm going off on a tangent. Thing is, Sonic wasn't 'shattered', for the lack of better term, like his friends were but still was affected by the Paradox energy so he was having brief and scattered memory issues. However, everyone else who was shattered like the prism spectrum has no memory of the original world.
So what if, when the shards are put back together, if not all at once but one by one, all the alternates get a piece of the original's memory back? Random scattered bits and pieces. Can you imagine the angst and realization and confusion? Nine already knows what could be happening because Sonic told him but imagine him getting bits and pieces of Tails' memories back as if they were his own but disconnected. Like putting puzzle pieces together, the image becomes clearer and clearer every time. And if that happens, I can't help but imagine how this might change the motives of them all. Would they, particularly Nine (who doesn't know whether the world can be restored or not because from what he said to Sonic in the Grim, he doesn't believe it can be fixed. ["The one you lost"] To him, Sonic lost his home and might not have it back and he was offering him a home too, trusting him like he had never trusted anyone else in his life), be willing to help out after seeing tidbits of a universe that was beautiful and peaceful? A universe where they were all a family and had a home. Could seeing the moments of a life he wishes to have shift Nine's motives?
Restoring the Prism might put together the different worlds to restore the original. The alternatives could all be gone. So, would they all, at one point, have to choose between their current lives and who they are now, to them being nonexistent but be whole? The potential angst of Nine having to choose between himself and Tails, the life he wishes he had and who he has become now. The potential conflict of Dread choosing between being selfish and holding the power or being trusted with a duty and trusted as a friend. I can already tell that Thorn will choose to be Amy over being Thorn.
Anyways, imagine the potential angst! The possible goodbyes... The "See you in Green Hills, Buddy."

ive gone on before about how sega hates women in a very specific way. I feel like a lot of unused characters people keep asking for back is women, and sega refuses to deliver. the most they get is into sonic speed battle if even that.
ive noticed a pattern in these women, think about sally, sticks, shade, tikal, cream, marine, etc. (all of which they have full rights too. sega has rights to shade. at least from what I've seen and heard) (also im counting cream bc she hasn't been in a game in 10 years, despite being part of the main character line in X when shadow wasn't)
The female characters i consider used are Amy and Rouge, lesser so Blaze and Zeena
The first visual thing I noticed that's different is that none of these characters are pink or purple. The characters used have this, even if Zeena is primarily green she still had to have pink on her.
Next is the unused characters don't dress the most stereotypically feminine, cream and tikal are the most.
But the thing i noticed most about the unuseds is that most don't act stereotypically feminine.
Since she's my blorbo ill use marine as an example. She's oranges and greens. Her character starts as just an annoying little girl until you learn more about her and understand her more. She wants to be a captain, is hot-headed and easily distracted, but surprisingly clever in the heat of the moment. She's introduced as Blaze's Tails and hasn't been used in 15 years. None of her aspects are stereotypically feminine, if she was a boy, her personality wouldn't change.
The only thing feminine about Sally is the fact she's a princess (and you cant have bunnie without sally so even tho she'd fit in what they have she's also been kicked). Sticks is so feral I don't think she knows what gender is and Dark Brotherhood doesn't even make a big deal that the fact that their leading warrior is a woman, they were focused much more on the fact that she's an echidna.
Tikal and Cream are the most used of the unused, and I always saw this as that they are the most feminine. Tikal is the helpful dead girl princess who belives in peace and love. Cream is a little sister character, who is nice to everyone has tea parties and makes flower crowns.
The used ones, are girlish however. Amy is clingy and hot-headed and previously seen as possessive, she's been seen enjoying many feminine activities. Rouge, although not sexualized by the camera, is obsessed with jewels and shiny things as well as speaking in a stereotypically feminine femme-fatale fastion. i didnt mean for that f thing. Blaze is the least femanine of the four however has the more modern steryotype of the closed off badass who is more open and sweet and kind when gotten close too, maybe even a love intrest which was hinted at in the beginning, also her deisgn makes up for that lack where she is very femanine. Zeena is the girl one of her group. she worries about her nails and looks and shit, the most femanine of the four.
Having a femanine character isn't bad. i fucking love rouge and blaze, it's just on it's own, give me a minute.
I'm going to go into the difference between Sonic Lost World's women and Sonic Boom (show)'s Women.
Sonic Lost world TECHNICALLY has multiple women However Amy is in like... 2 cutscenes. The most prominent one is Zeena, who is the only woman in the deadly six. This could have been fine if done right but it wasn't. Part of me wondered why she was so much better in the IDW comics, and part of it is writing and not being the butt of a joke for being a girltm, but also, she's with other women. She's pitted against Cream, one of the more used unused, and it's fucking excellent, their scene together is the best deadly six scene ever.
This is what my sister calls "the b99 effect" Rosa doesn't represent all hispanic women if you have another hispainic woman who acts completely differently. captain holt doesn't represent all black men if you have another black man who acts completely differently. Gina doesn't represent all women if there are a whole crew of other women, you get the picture.
This effect was very well used in Sonic Boom. Amy, is a stereotypical girl character and we know this. However, Sticks is not at all. They have a whole episode about this when it's just the two of them it's great. Sticks acts like the rest of the boys, reckless and messy. It's a perfect dynamic because when Amy acts the way she does it's clear she acts like that because she's Amy, not because she's a woman. Amy has multiple moments where she's separated from the rest and it's because she's being Amy. When Sticks is separated it's because she's paranoid, not because she's a girl. Even the boys have their separation moments. Because of writing and this effect, Boom Amy is probably my favorite Amy I've seen outside of IDW.
If Zeena had been less stereotypical it might have been better, but being the only girl on the deadly six automatically made her "the girl one." if there was another girl or they just made another one of them a woman and not changed anything Zeena would have been infinitely better, which is why she was amazing in the scene with cream.
Sega, in their love for only using feminine girls, never sees this. Despite the fandom being in love with Tangle and Whisper who have no pink or purple and don't have feminine personalities, unless you count Tangle looking stereotypically lesbian (she has the same hair as my lesbian sister legit) They keep asking for Sally, they keep asking for Sticks (especially since she was in an olympic games game and has been the only non-mainline character in sonic channel art) they keep asking for cream to be in the GODDAMN GAMES and they don't
only reason i can think of? sega hates women.
this ask was way too long but enjoy.
holy shit i dont have much to add this it is all so so true. the only thing i really disagree with is re boom amy because i have problems with her personality in that show being made into the Most Responsible one when i already have a dislike for sitcoms using girls as straight men (not common nowadays but old shit like mash, and early seinfeld and iasip) but thats just a personal gripe on where id prefer her character to go; she is written the most consistently in years in it and youre right she plays GREAT off sticks. this is all really interesting like i didnt make the femininity and pink/purple connections myself so its very eye opening. loved reading this

If the cast were in the Dragon Age setting what would they be?
Hi Anon,
I hope you are doing well.💚
I have had this ask in my inbox for a while because I've been thinking about how in-depth I should go with the answer. I haven’t played DA in a while, but I still have a lot of love for it and its characters. :D
Beckett/Becca
Class: Rouge (which may seem odd...)
A ranged rouge, who prefers to keep their distance and to influence the tide of battle from afar as opposed to being front and center in the action. More tactical minded, less inclined to lockpick unless you really, really wanted them to lockpick something. B: 'That's stealing, MC...' B: 'Why are you checking all the crates?' B: 'Do we need that much elfroot?' XD  They probably don’t seem very roguish in the typical sense in a way that may get some glances from your other companions. The DA:O skills that relate to animals/creatures would fit with B’s personality too!
Silas/Sofia
Class: Mage
An apostate mage! (I think S fits the general mage vibe with their personality.) They had a supportive mother who helped to hide them away once they presented (? idk somehow that works in this AU. Shh), leading to a more nomadic life style for the family. Mrs. Dorran would not view their child differently because of magic. Area of effect spells are preferred by them, especially triggering things at just the right moment after whittling down opponents. They would use Spirit Healer or the Spirit tree as a secondary skill set to protect/shield/buff allies; they care and that carries through in how they use their magic with a thoughtfulness centered on others well beings alongside the devastating capabilities of their elemental spell.
Reese/Ruby
Class: Mage
A circle mage in-line with the Trevelyan storyline in DA:I, so somewhat privileged as compared to the DA:O origin, but still in the circle and dealing with that angst and gilded cage aspect. Their mother would have hoped to ingrain respect for the 'necessary precautions' and 'order' the circle system provides and expect R to bend and accept their role, perhaps, even being a role model for other mages. (Really, she was ashamed and wanted R sequestered to spare the Verner last name from being tarnished by the presentation of magic, etc. Y'all know the lore.) Ice branch in DA:I, fade step (bc that is so fun to zip around with on the battle field and fits their recklessness), knight enchanter (bc why wouldn't R want a badass glowing magical blade?) skill set. Isn’t the best at healing spells or barrier spells. They would rather erect a wall of ice to keep the MC protected than cast a brittle barrier and carry the guilt of it failing... >.>
James/Jane
Class: Warrior
J would be a warrior; sword and shield--protector and tank, wanting to shoulder the blows and draw attention away from the party, if it helps to keep you and the others safe. Not a noble or secretly relevant to the plot due to special blood/unique item/whatever; however, they somehow get swept up in it. (Maybe because of your MC playing the role of protag in this AU; they remain stalwartly by your side after reuniting or something like that.) Hmm, idk much about warriors or rouge skills compared to mages...Champion would be their specialization.
Best wishes!

Me yesterday:
Rage over the existence of Eau Rouge.
Amused excitement over getting Jack Nicholls to say my name and mention cross stitch on BBC radio.
Cooing over Seb engaging Grid Dad mode while in the car. Bless.
Roaring over Molly Taylor being a total badass warrior in the Extreme E car.
Sleep is for the weak. (Extreme E quali ended at 4am)

i haven’t decided what my book is about yet.
but there’s a morally grey love interest, a badass protagonist with insomnia, a one armed ex warrior with ptsd, a rouge half elf, a grumpy witch, a sunshine mechanic with a cat and an asexual ex pirate lord with a taste for revenge.
did i mention they’re all queer as well?

My femme worldstate aka gatekeep, girl boss, gaslight ✨ all of these people are pretty fuckin ruthless and I’m excited to share them!
Tumblr media
Meet Lyriel Tabris (she/her) all round badass warrior that somehow wields a sword as big as her with no problem. Unfortunately, falls for the shem that is Alistair and has very conflicting feelings about it all. She hardens Alistair, makes him the sole king of Fereldan, refuses to accept the dark ritual and dies 🥲 she deserved better.
Tumblr media
What can I say about Noah Hawke?? She’s 6”3 trans femme rouge (she/they) fiercely loyal and is a raging lesbian. Her and Isabela get along swimmingly :’) she’s mostly red with a bit of purple, sides with the mages but kills Anders. He was her best friend after Varric, and the betrayal she felt runs deep. She stays in the fade 🥲
Tumblr media
Emiril Lavellan (she/her) is the only mage in this worldstate and she has a ROUGH time of it. She falls for Solas, he breaks up with her, ouch. She rebounds onto Blackwall, bad idea, the second betrayal fucks her up. She finally find peace with Cullen, but she’s a changed woman. Far less trusting and naive. She disbands the inquisition and makes Leliana divine.
Basically they’re all very angry, bitter and resentful of the position life has given them. Don’t blame them tbh. I’m mostly putting this here for reference for myself! Maybe one day I’ll write fics with these characters but who knows :’) thanks for reading ! The pic crew can be found here.

My Top 10 LGBT Couples for Once Upon a Time
2 Keep in mine this is my personal opinion and a majority of these will not be canon! So please enjoy let me know what you think and kicking at number 10
10 Ruby Slippers Aka Red/Ruby and Dorothy
Tumblr media
I am starting the list with them because they are the first canon LGBT couple on Once Upon A Time but it is not higher because it took five seasons to get to this point and they were rushed, and we never saw them again and it was a huge queer bait on Adam and Eddie’s part. I do like it because Red has bi tendencies and Wizard of Oz has always had a big LGBT following. So making Dorothy a lesbian makes perfect sense. Still the writing was not good this was rushed and the LGBT community deserves better.
9 Alice and New Robin Hood
Tumblr media
This couple is hire because we get to see them develop, in canon but again it took 7 seasons to get a gay couple that actually stays on OUAT but I can’t help but feel that they picked two random white women to put together just to pacify LGBT people and show that “See we can be diverse” when the writers couldn’t give Mulan an Asian bi woman a love interest or have her say the words “I am bisexual and I was in love with a woman named Aurora” (Yes I will always be salty over sleep warrior but that will come later in this post) I am thankful for the rep but at the same the writers shouldn’t have queer baited us.
8 Hooked Charming/David Nolan/Killian Jones
Tumblr media
I don’t know why but these two could have been an interesting couple, Two very masuculine gay men and yes I am aware they are happy with their women but they could have been more interesting thatn Captian Swan and they have belieable chemistry not the most romantic but believable chemistry than Captian Swan and I would pick that any day!
7. Frozen Swan aka Elsa and Emma
Tumblr media
I think that the females had pretty good chemistry and these two if Elsa would have have been arount longer would have made a great couple. Plus I think making Emma bi would make a lot of sense and Elsa is headcanoned as a lesbian so I think these two would make a great couple.
6. Dragon Queen Aka Malicifient and Regina
Tumblr media
These an evil Lesbian Couple who have soft spots for thier children and they would be totally bad ass together. I am not big on Swan Queen but they makes sense however I love the idea of the Evil Queen and the Malicificent getting together and just reaking havoc! So yeah Evil Girl Power!
5.Brave Warrior Merida and Mulan
Tumblr media
I have a thing for badass warrior women! They could train together go on missions and be a great couple! All though I will Say Merida in her own movie is not that likable but she is fine in OUAT! Mulan and Merida would be unstoppable duo. I also think it would have been a great plot twist if Merrida either turned out to be a lesbian or ace! I also just think Mulan just desrves a happy ending.
4.Mulan Rouge aka Red/Rbby and Mulan
Tumblr media
These two had really good chemistry and I just think that they would have made a great couple, Mulan can have a happy ending and they would have been more believable than Ruby Slippers or even the previous ship I just mentioned. Plus it would give Mulan a happy ending and the love she desrves and I think her and Ruby would work really well!
Ariel and Jasmine
Tumblr media
These girls both have a knack for wanting to explore the world, both land and sea. I can see them being a wonder lesbian couple despite it being long distance since one live in water and the other lives on land and I also love the idea of Jasmine as a mermaid!
2 Red Beauty Aka the Superior Beauty and The Beast! Ruby/Red and Belle
Tumblr media
Beauty and the Beast with a LGBT twist! Belle means Beauty litterally and Ruby is a werewolf so how could this not be perfect? It would give good represenation in my opinion the community, it would better thatn Lefou as the LGBT  rep and it would get Belle away from Rumple. I also enjoy this couple because of Belle wanted to be there for Ruby but Ruby was afraid of hurting Belle. Plus Ruby also visted Bell in the Pshych ward and they could help each other. It would still be Beuaty and the Beast just without kidnapping of fathers and without all that abusive stuff that comes with Rumbelle!
Now for #1 Sleeping Warrior aka Aurora and Mulan!
Tumblr media
This ship had so much potential only for it to be ruined by hetronormative bullshit! The writing was great it felt so natural for these two get together! I mean they go on a long adventure together, Aurora literally gets her heart stolen by Cora and Mulan is the one to put it back for her. They also had such great chemistry and a great build up and then Aurora gets pregnat with Philip’s baby and Mulan doesn’t get her happy ending. I hate how much potential and organic chemistry these two had only for it to be ruined. With how these two were written if one half of Sleeping Warriror had been a guy they would have been a couple but nope! They could have a thruple polygamy if they wanted Philip in the thing. Forgive its been a while I have watched OUAT but Sleeping Warrior will always be the First LGBT ship I shipped on Once Upon a Time
